Prince Thomas Olaleye Ogungbangbe, PhD, Launches 2025 Annual Food Support Programme Across Osun East

Extending compassion, strengthening party unity, and standing with the people during the yuletide season.

 

A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Osun State, a leading aspirant for the Osun East Senatorial District in the 2027 general election, and a renowned philanthropist, Prince Thomas Olaleye Ogungbangbe, PhD, has flagged off the 2025 edition of his Annual Food Support Programme, reaching party leaders, members, and vulnerable residents across the Osun East Senatorial District.

 

The initiative, which entails the distribution of hundreds of bags of rice and other essential food items, is currently ongoing in various communities across the district. Beneficiaries include party leaders, grassroots members, and community stakeholders, with special attention given to wards within the Ife/Ijesha zone to ensure broad and inclusive coverage ahead of the Christmas and New Year celebrations.

 

Tagged the Food Support Scheme, the programme is one of several people-centred interventions of Prince Ogungbangbe, a scion of the Ajagbusi Ekun Dynasty of Iloko-Ijesa. Over the years, the scheme has become a consistent annual tradition, touching the lives of party faithful, the elderly, and the less privileged, while reinforcing the values of empathy, unity, and shared prosperity.

 

Beyond its humanitarian significance, the initiative aligns with and complements the people-oriented governance philosophy and welfare-driven leadership of progressive leaders, particularly the Honourable Minister of Marine and Blue Economy, His Excellency Adegboyega Isiaka Oyetola, CON, and the incoming Governor of Osun State, His Excellency Asiwaju Munirudeen Bola Oyebamiji (AMBO), both of whom are widely acknowledged for their commitment to inclusive governance and unwavering support for party loyalists.

 

As the yuletide season approaches, the Food Support Scheme once again stands as a powerful symbol of hope, unity, and practical compassion across Osun East Senatorial District.
