FHA EDsalutes ace broadcaster, Jamiu Olawumi, on his 60th birthday

 

Executive Director ( Projects Implementation), Federal Housing Authority (FHA), Engr Oluremi Omowaiye has praised his former colleague and brother , Alhaji Jamiu Olawumi, on his 60th birthday.

Olawumi, a renowned BBC-trained broadcast journalist and retired civil servant, served as Special Adviser on Education to ex-Governor Oyetola from 2019-2022. 

During his tenure, Olawumi played a crucial role in reforming the education system in Osun State, which had been struggling prior to Oyetola's administration. 

According to Omowaiye, "Alhaji Jamiu Olawumi is a quintessential broadcaster, a firebrand and highly principled progressive and a core humanist whose wealth of experience in civil and public service has contributed significantly to the growth of the All Progressives Congress in Osun State, particularly after the political disappointment of 2022 which occasioned our exit from the government of the state."

Omowaiye thanked the Ife-born politician, hailing him for his  loyalty and commitment to the progressive ideals and wished him a happy birthday filled with good health and financial abundance.
