Yomi Ogunwale Welcomes Omooba Dotun Babayemi, Alhaji Shuibu Oyedoun, And Thousands Of Their Followers To Osun APC.

The Prominent member and chieftain of the All Progressive Congress (APC) in Osun State, Barrister Yomi Ogunwale (Igba Ire De) happily welcome former PDP governorship aspirant in 2022, Gubernatorial Election, Prince Dotun Babayemi and former Deputy National Chairman of PDP, Southwest BOT member of PDP, Alhaji Shuiabu Oyedokun and thousands of their followers into APC today. 

In a statement released through his media office, described bringing back Prince Dotun Babayemi to APC as a big force to strengthen our great party.

Ogunwale commended the dedicated efforts of the Osun APC State Executive Committee, led by Hon. Sooko Tajudeen Lawal for working hard day and night to make Osun APC undefeated ahead of 2026 Osun governorship election.  

He also appreciates the effort of our National leaders and former Governors of Osun State, Chief Bisi Akande, Honorable Minister of Marine and Blue Economy, Adegboyega Oyetola, and National Secretary of APC Senator Ajibola Basiru for giving necessary support for Sooko led State Working Committee

Ogunwale urged the members of the Osun APC to continue working in harmony, and work hard towards ending the ineffective and lacklustre governance of the Ademola Adeleke-led People's Democratic Party (PDP) administration in Osun State. 

He also emphasized the importance of grassroots mobilization and engagement of people in Osun State to regain their trust and support ahead of the forthcoming elections. Also, called on all party faithful members to remain steadfast and dedicated to the APC's principles and ideologies, as they strive towards winning back the hearts of the people in the upcoming elections. 

In conclusion, Barrister Yomi Ogunwale expressed his optimism and unwavering belief in the APC's ability to emerge victorious in the 2026 governorship elections in Osun State, with unity, hard work, and also commitment to serve the people.
