NEWSBRIEF :- Iragbiji Poised for Completion of Community-built High/Magistrate Courts Complex
Iragbiji, headquarters of Boripe Local Government and one of the fastest-growing communities in Osun State, has obviously shown communal resolve on completion of the ongoing construction of a gigantic, two-in-one complex housing both High Court and Magistrate Court respectively.
According to the Iragbiji Development Association (IDA), the need for the Judiciary Complex in Iragbiji was conceived three years ago by the community's stakeholders headed by His Royal Majesty, Aragbiji of Iragbiji, Oba Abdur-Rasheed Ayotunde Olabomi Odundun IV, and has since commenced work on the project.
"We hope to complete and deliver the complex to government by end of the year or by the beginning of the new year 2024.
"For avoidance of misconception, it's noteworthy to state that the High Court and the Magistrate Court Complex is built by Iragbiji Community, and it's our noble contribution to the Nigerian Judiciary as an institution of government", IDA National Chairman, Dr. Lateef Raheem said.
Speaking earlier while addressing his Chiefs led by the Eesa of Iragbiji, High Chief Muraina Oyelami and the notable Chiefs-entourage on Aragbiji-in-Council, Oba Olabomi said "Iragbiji is arguably the first community in Osun, if not in the entire South-west, that has come up with this type of gigantic building for the Judiciary."
