*Aragbiji Commissions OLAN, Oyeleke's new Medical Centre in Lagos, Urges him to Ensure Best Practices*

The Aragbiji of Iragbiji in the State of Osun, Oba Abdur-Rasheed Ayotunde Olabomi Odundun IV, today, in company of other dignitaries, commissioned a newly established medical centre in Lagos, owned by one of illustrious sons of the ancient town, Dr. Oyeleke Ajiboye, and his friend, Dr. Emmanuel from United State of America.   

Addressing attendees at the event before the commissioning, Aragbiji said the feat was worth celebration.

The monarch who berated unpatriotic patronage of foreign products, especially incessant trips abroad for medical treatments by some Nigerians, urged the owners of the new medical centre to adopt the best practices possible anywhere in the world.

His words: "Let this institution be one of the best anybody can find anywhere in the world.

"It is not the building that dictates what an institution is. It is the people, the practitioners, the managers, the personnel. 

"As a professional Human Resources person, I want you to emphasize high level of discipline and adherence to the ethics and official rules of the hospital, so that by the time the hospital goes on functioning, the standard will be maintained, the facilities will be maintained, and very conducive environment will be provided for people". 

Reacting to an attitude earlier condemned by Dr. Emmanuel in his introductory speech, Oba Olabomi said he never consulted or visited hospital unless he had a medical complaint.

He consequently exhorted Dr. Ajiboye and his partner, Dr. Emmanuel to create a platform where people would be introduced to, and enlightened about wellness in the hospital.

"We need to regularly go to hospitals to ascertain the state of our health.

"After all, we service our vehicles; some people every month, some every three months, but we don't service ourselves", Aragbiji said.

Speaking earlier, Dr. Ajiboye said OLAN has been existing for the past thirty years in the United State of America.

According to him, OLAN has come to stay in Nigeria, adding that the medical centre majored in human health generally.

Also speaking, Dr. Emmanuel, who had almost given up the idea of relocating from USA to Nigeria having been unsuccessful over seventeen years of trial, said his partner, Dr. Ajiboye, made it possible.

Similarly, Dr. Emmanuel urged the participants at the occasion to invest in their health.

The doctor said: "Thank you for allowing us to invest in Nigeria. We should invest in our health.

"Those of us in power should encourage the people to invest in the health of the country".

On the royal entourage of Aragbiji to Lagos were his two lieutenants, Alhaji Olayide Oladiti, a promising politician, and Olorede Hollor4GGO, a researcher, lecturer and media practitioner,  among others, including security agents.
