Ife-South Council Boss, Hon. (Prince) Mufutau Adegbite Hosts Hunters Association, attends IGS Inter-House sports
Earlier today, Hon. (Prince) Mufutau Adegbite, the Executive Chairman of Ife South Local Government, played host to members of the Hunters Association during a courtesy visit held at his office, before proceeding to attend the Inter-House Sports programme of Ifetedo Grammar School.
The Hunters Association delegation commended the Chairman for his proactive leadership and commitment to grassroots security. They highlighted the vital role they continue to play in safeguarding rural communities and pledged their continued support towards maintaining peace and order across the local government. The association also used the opportunity to seek further collaboration with the local government to enhance their operations.
In his response, Hon. Adegbite appreciated the group for their unwavering dedication and bravery in complementing the efforts of conventional security agencies. He reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to strengthening community-based security structures, noting that the safety of lives and property remains a top priority of his government. He assured the hunters of continued support and cooperation in achieving a more secured Ife South.
Shortly after the engagement, the Chairman proceeded to Ifetedo Grammar School to grace her Inter-House Sports programme. The event, which was well attended by HRM Oba Akinola Oyetade Akinrera being the Royal father of the Day, and other distinguished guests of honour; Hon. Felix Ologbenla, Hon. Jimoh Mustafa, Hon. Azeez Oloyede, to mention but a few. The event featured a colourful display of athletic competitions, culture, march past, and other sporting activities.
The Chairman’s presence added prestige to the occasion, as students showcased their talents amidst cheers and excitement from spectators amidst donation in support of the school.
The dual engagements of the day reflect Hon. Adegbite’s continued dedication to security, youth development, and community engagement across Ife South Local Government.
