...As Medical Outreach Hits Iwo, Iragbiji in grand style

As the train of Ilerioluwa medical outreach organised in honour of the 70th birthday anniversary of former Osun State Governor and current Minister of Marine and Blue Economy, Adegboyega Oyetola, hit Iwo and Iragbiji on Thursday and Friday, the Oluwo of Iwoland, Oba Abdul-Rasheed Adewale Akanbi and Aragbiji of Iragbiji, Oba Abdul-Rasheed Olabomi have extolled the medical and surgical outreach conducted round the three senatorial districts by the organizers where over 4000 people benefitted from free medical and surgical services.

Recall that the birthday anniversary committee had earlier announced the series of events in commemoration of the birthday, including free medical outreach. The medical team had attended to over four thousand people across the three senatorial districts where many were given free drugs and other health incentives.

Speaking in their palaces while playing a host on the free medical outreach team, the revered monarchs acknowledged the moderation style adopted by the committee in celebrating the Minister's birthday.

The traditional rulers also commended the free medical initiative described it as a welcome development capable of impacting greatly in the people's lives particularly the masses who couldn't afford quality healthcare services.

At Iwo, close to a thousand people benefitted from the free medical service while about a thousand beneficiaries  were also recorded for the programme in Iragbiji respectively.

The beneficiaries in their hundreds showered encomium on the organisers just as they urged them not to relent in their oars towards ensuring the continuation of the laudable initiative.

The free medical outreach climaxed with a surgical exercise at Geriatric Centre, Ilesa on Saturday as all the applicants were attended to by the team.
