OSUN 2025 LG POLL; APC ASPIRANTS, CANDIDATES EMBRACE PEACEFUL RESOLUTION IN ODO-OTIN LG.
In what demonstrated their readiness to work for the interest of the All Progressives Congress APC in the forthcoming Local Government elections scheduled to hold in February 2025, Local Government Chairmanship Aspirants in the Odo-Otin Local Government Area of the State have embraced peaceful resolution on the Candidate elected to vie for the position of Chairman during the poll.
During a meeting held at the instance of an Elderstatesman, Chief Shuaib Oyedokun (Oluomo of Inisa) in his house, the aspirants, Hon Akinloye Oluwole Aliyu, Hon Iyiola Adekeye and Hon Johnson Adepoju Oladele resolved to shun their differences and work to support the Candidate in Odo-Otin, Hon Surveyor Oluseyi Oke for the poll.
According to a statement signed by a prominent member of the APC in Odo-Otin, Prince Adeniran Kilomodemo Ibitoye also known as KLM, the meeting which was called to ensure that all members are on the same page ahead of the elections, was successful as it made it possible for members of the APC in Odo-Otin to resolve their differences and put the party above their personal interest.
In his words, Baba Oyedokun described the gathering as a stakeholders' meeting, which was summoned for the purpose of fostering peace and to reconcile all the factional groups in the party, in a bid to work in unity for the success of the forthcoming local government and governorship elections in 2025 and 2026.
Baba oyedokun acknowledged the sincerity of members in the local government as he also lauded them for their steadfastness and sincerity, particularly for resisting and shunning the recent clandestine attempts of People's Democratic Party, PDP to entice APC members with materials and positions.
Meanwhile, all the selected leaders who constitutes the expanded stakeholders from all the 15 wards were in attendance, the leaders include Akinrogun Poju Odusola, Pa Duro Olaleke, Hon Adebowale Olaoye, Pa Moyinoluwago Ogunwale, Deacon Emmanuel Folorunso, Alhaji YK Yekini Balogun, Hon Samson Oduoye, Hon Lekan Oyediran, Pa Mukaila Bakare, Hon Ganiyu Lawal Femo, Hon Fatai Ikeola, Hon Kamilu Hamsat, among others.
Others in attendance are the ward chairmen, local government executives, ward youth and women leaders, chairmanship, vice and the councillorship candidates.
The meeting ended with assurances from everybody as all attendees sang and danced with the promise to work towards the party's victory during the 2025 Local Government poll and the 2026 Governorship elections in Osun State.
