Hon Seun Odofin Pays tribute to the Late Mayegun of Iwoland, Alhaji Debo Badru

It is with a heavy heart that I, Hon Seun David Odofin, pay tribute to the late Mayegun of Iwoland, Alhaji Debo Badru, a political giant whose passing has left an unfillable void in our midst. His demise is a tremendous loss to me, our leader, and the entire political family in Osun.

Alhaji Debo Badru was a pillar of support throughout my journey to secure the House of Representatives ticket. His influence was undeniable, and I was constantly in awe of his exceptional political acumen. His gift for navigating the complexities of politics ultimately led to his appointment as Special Adviser on political matters, a testament to his remarkable abilities.

His absence will be deeply felt, as we will no longer benefit from his wisdom, insight, and guidance. His passing leaves a noticeable gap in our lives, and I can only imagine the immense sorrow that our leader and father, Minister of Blue Economy and Marine, Alh. Gboyega Oyetola, and the immediate and Progressive family in Osun must be feeling.

As I reflect on Alhaji Debo Badru's life, I am reminded of his unwavering dedication to the people of Osun and his unrelenting commitment to the development of our great state. His legacy will live on through the countless lives he touched and the numerous initiatives he championed.

In this difficult time, I pray that God grants us the strength and comfort to bear the loss of this extraordinary individual. May we all strive to emulate his exemplary life and may his memory continue to inspire us to work towards a better future for our people.

Rest in peace, Uncle Debo. Your contributions to our lives and the political landscape of Osun will never be forgotten.
