Aragbiji Admonishes Protection for informants as he hosts NDLEA Officials
On the 20th of March 2024, the esteemed Aragbiji of Iragbiji, Hrm. Oba Abdur-Rasheed Ayotunde Olabomi (JP), FCIPM, FNIM, MNIPR, Odundun IV Asoludero, graciously welcomed and engaged with the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) Officials deployed to Boripe Local Government, Iragbiji.
In his address, Oba Olabomi emphasized the crucial role of the NDLEA officials in combating the drug abuse and illegal possession of hard drug substances within the community. He implored them to execute their duties with utmost efficiency, while ensuring the eradication of illicit substances from Iragbiji.
Additionally, he stressed the importance of maintaining confidentiality regarding their sources of information, thereby safeguarding their operations and the community's safety.
Furthermore, the monarch underscored the significance of proactive measures. He urged the NDLEA officials to prioritize sensitization efforts targeting drug users rehabilitation and the entire youth populace.
Oba Olabomi called upon Honorable Wasiu Babalola, the Boripe Local Government chairman, to ensure the provision of necessary resources to support the NDLEA officials in their mission to secure a brighter, drug-free future for Iragbiji.
