Engr. Kayode Sowade felicitates Ogunsua of Modakeke and all Modakeke Sons and Daughters on the Celebration of 38th Akoraye Day

A renowned son of the soil and philanthropist, Engr. Kayode Sowade has felicitated with the Ogunsua of Modakeke, HRM Oba (Dr) Joseph Toriola Olubiyi, eminent sons and daughters of Modakeke on the 38th Akoraye Day Celebration.

In a statement made available from his media office, he congratulated the Ogunsua for peacefully piloting the affairs of the town, he lauded him for his developmental strides ever since he ascended the throne of his forebears. In his words "I congratulate my royal father, the Ogunsua of Modakeke on this day's 38th celebration of Akoraye Day, your reign have been peaceful, the town have experienced a paradigm shift economically, there have been monumental infrastructural development and above all, your sons and daughters have experienced promotions and developments in their chosen endeavours"

He further praised eminent sons and daughters of the town for being a worthy ambassador who have represented Modakeke well in Nigeria and the diaspora. He enjoined them to not forget that Modakeke "is our heritage, therefore we are duty bound to ensure we adequately pull resources together to see to it's development and uplift".

He concluded by wishing everyone a wonderful and happy celebrations.
