Senator Ajibola Basiru of Osun Central Senatorial District has assured that the country will sail through its current economic and social challenges with positive attitudes of the people to the Nigerian project.

In a congratulatory message to the people of the Senatorial district on the anniversary of this year’s Eidul Adh'ah, the Ataoja of Osogboland and the council of Ulamah in the District, Dr Basiru said each powerful and prosperous nation of the World had passed through political and economic hiccups but eventually overcame such and developed into models to other nations with patience and determination.

Appealing to Muslims to use the period of Eid to pray to Allaah to comfort the nation and guide the leaders right, the Senate spokesperson emphasised that Nigeria is better as an indivisible entity.

"We are better together as an inseparable entity. Our diversity in culture and language, even faith should be the fulcrum on which our unity stands. Nigeria should be one and not worn. When we all sport the garb of positive attitude to Nigeria as our collective project, we will come out of the backwaters of crises."

Senator Ajibola Basiru used the occasion to rally further support for the administration of Governor Adegboyega Oyetola in his drive to take Osun to a greater height and for APC Government in Nigeria to lead the nation to the Promise Land.
