Oyetola, a Manager of Human and Material Resources - NSPT

The Osun state Nigerian Society for Professional Tailors has described Governor Adegboyega Oyetola as a shrewd manager of human and material resources whose kind is always needed at the helms of affairs.

They said, this is as a result of the effective management of state resources under his stewardship bringing about wondrous strides in the state.

This was revealed on Tuesday in an engagement meeting with the Special Adviser to Governor on Civic Engagement, Hon. Olatunbosun Oyintiloye at the centre for civic engagement, Osogbo.

The association through its chairman, Com. Taofeek Balogun maintained that, "Oyetola will always be commended for his outstanding performance which has translated to the development of all sectors of the state economy.

"Specifically, we appreciate him for the modification done in the education policy which has precipitated the change of school uniforms to its original form as it will go a long way, in boosting the economy of fashion industry.

"Indeed, Oyetola is such a man needed at the helms of affairs beyond 2022".

They equally appealed to the government to further formulate policies that would make life more comfortable to the people.

The association however, urged the government to recognize as stakeholder in its inclusive governance while seeking for contract jobs from the government and other social benefits which emanate from the government.

While speaking, the Special Adviser to Governor, Hon. Olatunbosun Oyintiloye demystified on the essence of civic engagement which is to interface between the government and the people in terms of getting feedbacks which could help government in the policy formulation process.

He however, said the association is a strategic body which could help government in the feedback process as it maintains proximity with the people across the state.

He then, reassured them of more commitments from the government while emphasising that all their demands will be attended to accordingly.

In their separate remarks, the Director of Grassroots and Public Enlightenment in the Ministry of Information, Mrs. Oyeboade Shaniyi and the Program Officer, Yeyeoge Olabisi Bolarinwa appreciated the group for their continued support to the government and reaffirmed the commitment of the government in ensuring effective service delivery.
