THERE WOULD BE MASSIVE FACELIFT OF ASUBIARO GENERAL HOSPITAL, SAYS GOV. OYETOLA

Governor Gboyega Oyetola of the State of Osun has this evening, during his inspection visit to Asubiaro General Hospital in Osogbo,  reiterated his resolve to remodel state owned hospitals.

The governor's inspection was occasioned by a report that there's incessant monkeys' damaging incursion into the hospital.

 During a brief interview with Journalists shortly after the visit, the Governor said: "There would be massive remodeling of that place.

"Monkeys are not supposed to be our neighbours in that area. We are going to increase the height of the fence and ensure we don't have too much of tick forest around the fence.

"There's going to be a massive facelift, and I believe when that is done, we would have been able to take care of the situation". 

Speaking further, the Governor said his decision to personally inspect the General hospital and a few selected Primary Healthcare Centers out of the 332 in the state was informed by his insistence on quality delivery of the ongoing work as well as his intention to ensure people's access to quality healthcare delivery in all the wards in the state.

On the entourage of Mr. Governor on his inspection visit were Secretary to the State Government, SSG, Chief of Staff, COS, to the Governor, Deputy Chief of Staff, Supervisors for Finance, and Works, and his two Personal Assistants on Political Affairs, among others.
