Osun 2026- OLOHUNLALARO SUSTAINS GRASSROOTS ENGAGEMENT ACROSS IKIRUN, OBAAGUN FOR AMBO

In continuation of his grassroots mobilisation ahead of the August 15, 2026 Osun State governorship election, Alhaji Abdulraheem Muhammed Saheed Omokehinde Akofe Ọlọ́hunláláró has sustained engagements with residents, community groups and traditional stakeholders across Ikirun and Obaagun in Ifelodun Local Government Area.

The engagements, aimed at strengthening support for the All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship candidate, Asiwaju Munirudeen Bola Oyebamiji (AMBO), took him to the Sabale Group in Ikirun, as well as Agbojulowo, Idiogungun and Agboola’s communities in Obaagun.

During the meetings, Ọlọ́hunláláró held direct discussions with residents and community stakeholders, listening to their concerns while presenting the campaign’s message of responsible leadership, development and economic opportunity.

He encouraged the people to remain actively involved in the electoral process and to make informed choices at the polls. He also called on APC supporters to maintain peace and unity, stressing that the election should be approached with a strong sense of civic responsibility.

As part of the day’s activities, Ọlọ́hunláláró paid a courtesy visit to the palace of His Royal Majesty, Oba Jimoh Okunade Adebisi, the Olobaagun of Obaagun.

The palace visit provided an opportunity for consultation and to seek the monarch’s royal prayers and goodwill for a peaceful electoral process and a successful outcome for the AMBO/KAYODE ticket.

The series of engagements reflects Ọlọ́hunláláró’s continued emphasis on grassroots consultation as the election draws closer. Rather than relying solely on large campaign gatherings, the mobilisation has focused on direct interaction with communities and different segments of the electorate.

From Ikirun to Obaagun, the engagements have continued to strengthen communication between the campaign structure and residents, while reinforcing the call for peaceful participation in the forthcoming election.

Ọlọ́hunláláró reaffirmed his commitment to sustaining the outreach across Ifelodun Local Government and urged supporters to remain organised, respectful and focused as the campaign enters its final phase.
