OLOHUNLALARO: THE GRASSROOTS FORCE DRIVING APC’S MOMENTUM IN IFELODUN

The growing strength of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ifelodun Local Government has continued to receive a significant boost through the sustained grassroots mobilisation and community engagement championed by Alhaji Abdulraheem Muhammed-Saheed Omokehinde Akofe, popularly known as Ọlọ́hunláláró.
In recent weeks, Ọlọ́hunláláró has demonstrated that effective political mobilisation goes beyond rallies and campaign appearances. His approach has been firmly rooted in direct engagement with the people, community outreach, empowerment and consistent mobilisation at the grassroots.
From Ikirun to surrounding communities, his team has maintained an aggressive engagement strategy, reaching out to traditional institutions, artisans, traders, transport workers, religious bodies, youths, women and other critical stakeholders.
One of the major highlights of his grassroots intervention has been the free fuel initiative, which provided support to commercial motorcycle operators, tricycle operators and minibus drivers. Beyond the immediate economic relief, the initiative demonstrated a deliberate effort to connect political participation with tangible support for ordinary residents.
His grassroots activities have also included door-to-door mobilisation, community meetings, stakeholder engagements, solidarity walks and visits to influential community institutions, all aimed at strengthening the APC structure and communicating the vision of the party’s governorship candidate, Asiwaju Munirudeen Bola Oyebamiji (AMBO).
Ọlọ́hunláláró’s mobilisation philosophy is simple: take the message to the people, listen to their concerns and build political participation from the grassroots upward.
This strategy has continued to generate enthusiasm among APC supporters across Ifelodun, while reinforcing the importance of a strong polling-unit structure ahead of the August 15, 2026 governorship election.
Observers of the political development in Ifelodun have increasingly identified Ọlọ́hunláláró as one of the figures playing a visible role in consolidating grassroots support for the APC and AMBO.
With the election fast approaching, his continued engagement underscores a broader message: the road to electoral victory is built at the grassroots, one community, one ward and one polling unit at a time.
As the campaign enters its final stretch, Ọlọ́hunláláró and Team NARON remain committed to deepening engagement, strengthening the APC family and mobilising the people of Ifelodun for a new chapter under the leadership of Asiwaju Munirudeen Bola Oyebamiji.
The message is clear: the grassroots are awake, the structure is working, and the momentum is rising.
IFELODUN FOR AMBO.
APC FOR PROGRESS.
ỌLỌ́HUNLÁLÁRÓ FOR GRASSROOTS MOBILISATION.
