AMBO Thanks Osun APC Supporters, Calls for Peace and Protection of Party Members

Asiwaju Munirudeen Bola Oyebamiji, FCIB, MBA, has called on leaders, members and supporters of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Osun State to remain calm, peaceful and united following the outcome of the 2026 governorship election.
Oyebamiji, in a message to APC stakeholders, thanked party members for their sacrifices, commitment and unwavering belief in the party’s prosperity agenda throughout the electioneering period.
The APC governorship candidate acknowledged that the party had hoped for a different outcome, but said the electoral process would be respected while the party undertakes its review of the election.
He urged APC supporters not to withdraw from their communities, but to remain engaged, vigilant and committed to the ideals for which they campaigned.
According to him, the end of the campaign does not signal the end of the vision for a better Osun State.
“The campaign is over, but our vision for effective, inclusive, and rapid development of Osun remains alive.”
Oyebamiji also expressed concern over reported attacks and hostility against APC members and called on the Osun State Government, the police and other security agencies to ensure the safety of all residents, irrespective of political affiliation.
He appealed to party members to maintain peace and avoid actions capable of escalating tension across the state.
While appreciating the trust placed in him by APC members and supporters, Oyebamiji said he remained proud of the campaign and the commitment demonstrated by the party’s grassroots supporters.
He concluded with a message of hope, unity and continued commitment to the development of Osun State and Nigeria.
