APATA Salutes Nigerian Workers on May Day
On behalf of my political associates, I extend warm and heartfelt congratulations to Nigerian workers, especially the hardworking men and women of Osun West Senatorial District and Osun State at large, on this significant occasion. I salute your resilience, your unwavering spirit, and your enduring commitment to nation-building, even in the face of daunting challenges.
Workers remain the backbone of every progressive society. As the saying goes, “The dignity of labour lies not in what you do, but in how you do it.” Your daily sacrifices, often uncelebrated, continue to sustain our communities, strengthen our economy, and inspire hope for a better future.
In Osun West and across the state, your contributions resonate far beyond your places of work. Whether in the public or private sector, in farms, markets, schools, or offices, your dedication embodies the true essence of service. Indeed, “Hard work beats talent when talent does not work hard,” and you have consistently proven this truth through your perseverance.
I acknowledge the realities many workers face, yet your courage to press on remains remarkable. It is often said that “When the going gets tough, the tough get going,” and Nigerian workers have continued to demonstrate this strength with admirable resolve and patriotism.
As we celebrate you, I reaffirm my belief that workers deserve not only recognition, but also improved welfare, fair treatment, and growth opportunities. A society that values its workforce invests in its future, for “The strength of a nation lies in the productivity of its people.”
Let this occasion serve as a renewed call to unity, diligence, and hope. Together, we can build a more inclusive and prosperous society where the efforts of every worker are rewarded and respected. Your labour is not in vain, and your impact will continue to shape generations to come.
Once again, I congratulate all Nigerian workers, particularly those in the Osun West Senatorial District and Osun State. I celebrate your strength, your sacrifice, and your spirit.
Signed:
Chief (Dr) Peter Taiwo Ogundeji (APATA)
Aspirant for Senate
Osun West Senatorial District, 2027.
