APATA Leads Delegation to Condole Osun APC Chairman Over Wife’s Passing.
Aspirant for the Osun West Senatorial District in the 2027 general election, Chief (Dr) Peter Taiwo Ogundeji, has led his political associates on a condolence visit to the Osun State Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Alhaji Sooko Tajudeen Lawal, in Ile-Ife, following the passing of his wife, Alhaja Fatimah Oreoluwa Lawal.
The delegation visited the APC Chairman to express deep sympathy over the painful loss, describing the late Alhaja Fatimah as a virtuous woman whose life was marked by humility, devotion, and unwavering commitment to her family and faith.
During the visit, special prayers were offered for the repose of her soul, with supplications for Almighty Allah to forgive her shortcomings and grant her Aljanah Firdaus.
The gathering also reflected on the transient nature of life and the importance of steadfastness in faith, even in times of grief.
Chief Ogundeji, popularly known as APATA, urged Alhaji Lawal to take solace in the will of God, noting that life and death remain in the hands of the Almighty.
He emphasised that while the loss is deeply painful, comfort should be found in the belief that God gives and takes according to His divine wisdom.
The Politician signed the condolence register and further prayed for the APC Chairman, his children, and the entire Lawal family, asking God to grant them the strength and fortitude to bear the irreparable loss, while assuring them of his continued support and solidarity.
The visit concluded with a renewed expression of unity and compassion, as members of the delegation reaffirmed their commitment to stand with the APC Chairman and his family in prayers and support in the days ahead.
