Chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Hon. Mrs. Moye Alade, is set to launch a women empowerment initiative in Ejigbo Local Government through the distribution of modern kitchen equipment, including blenders.

The intervention, scheduled to benefit women across the wards of Ejigbo LG, is designed to strengthen household income, support small-scale food businesses, and improve economic independence for beneficiaries. Items to be distributed include blenders and other essential catering tools.

Speaking on the initiative, Hon. Mrs. Alade stated that empowering women remains one of the most effective ways to lift families and communities. _“When you empower a woman, you empower a home, a street, and ultimately, a local government. This support is to help our mothers and sisters expand their businesses, reduce the burden of domestic work, and contribute more to the local economy,”_ she said.

The programme is also being undertaken in support of Osun APC Governorship Candidate *Asiwaju Munirudeen Bola Oyebamiji (AMBO) 2026*, reflecting Hon. Mrs. Alade’s commitment to the ideals of shared prosperity and grassroots development championed by the movement.
