Set to Launch Boripe Youth Empowerment Scheme (B'YES)

The Executive Chairman of Boripe Local Government, Hon. Odebunmi Sikiru, and his counterpart in Boripe North LCDA, Hon. Bamigbegbin Issac, have announced plans to recall the sacked O'YES Corps members in Boripe.

This decision follows the recent judgment by the Appeal Court, which reinstated the elected local government chairmen and councillors in Osun State. In line with this, the Boripe Local Government Executive Council has committed to restoring the affected O'YES Corps members.

The Executive Chairman, Hon. Odebunmi Sikiru, reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to ensuring the welfare and well-being of all citizens, regardless of their political affiliations. He also called on all stakeholders, including the sacked O'YES Corps members, to cooperate with the local government administration to achieve these goals.

In a show of support for the current administration, the O'YES Corps members have expressed their sincere appreciation for the recall decision. They have also pledged their commitment to work alongside the administration to further the development of Boripe Local Government, emphasizing their dedication to achieving progress and unity in the community.

Furthermore, to engage the youth in meaningful development, the Boripe Local Government is set to launch the Boripe Youth Empowerment Scheme (B'YES). This initiative is designed to equip young people in the community with skills and opportunities for personal and professional growth.

The recall process is expected to commence soon, with modalities being worked out to ensure a smooth transition.
