 The Owoseni family has categorically denied recent media reports suggesting that any sons of the late Pa G.O Lawal (Owoseni), former APC Osun Senatorial leader and Igbimo Agba member, have joined the Omoluabi Movement or defected to opposition parties.

Party leaders have clarified that Lawal Rasheed, seen with the Omoluabi caucus, is not representing the Owoseni name. The said Rasheed Lawal has joined the Omoluabi caucus in his personal capacity. It's noted that Rasheed Lawal (also known as Aare) previously aligned with the PDP during the last election and collected #100.000 and also allegedly received compensation from former Ifelodun Chairman, Hon. Sarafadeen Awotunde (aka Spain), before joining the Omoluabi Caucus.

The Owoseni family, through APC party leaders, has confirmed that all members of the Owoseni political dynasty remain loyal to the APC. They view Rasheed's actions as uncalled for and reject any attempts to sensationalize or exploit this situation. The family stands united against efforts to create discord or damage their relationship with the party.

It's worth noting that the Omoluabi Caucus has reportedly been attempting to recruit the Lawal family for over five months, sending multiple emissaries without success. The Owoseni political dynasty continues to uphold the values instilled by their patriarch and remains fully aligned with the All Progressives Congress's vision.
