In a major boost to the All Progressives Congress (APC) ahead of the August 15, 2026 governorship election in Osun State, elder statesman Chief Bisi Akande, former Governor H.E. Adegboyega Oyetola , CON, and Otunba Senator Iyiola Omisore  met on Sunday to further fine-tune strategies aimed at guaranteeing victory for the party.

The strategic meeting, convened at the instance of Chief Bisi Akande, focused on harmonizing structures, strengthening grassroots mobilization, and consolidating party unity across all local governments in the state.

At the meeting, Otunba Iyiola Omisore pledged to work closely with other APC leaders in Osun to achieve maximum success at the polls. He reaffirmed his commitment to the party’s rescue mission and to the emergence of Asiwaju Munirudeen Bola Oyebamiji  (AMBO)  as the next governor of Osun State.

The trio agreed that only a united front, driven by discipline and a clear issue-based campaign, can return Osun to the path of prudence, accountability, and real development.

The meeting signals renewed cohesion within the APC’s top leadership as campaigns intensify across the state.
