...Urges Party's Faithful to Remain Resolute, Steadfast Against 'Known Foes'

The immediate past member of the Osun State House of Assembly, Hon. Babatunde Festus Komolafe, has declared a group led by the former Governor Rauf Aregbesola as a coterie-drift-sinking group going into political oblivion.

Komolafe, fondly called "BFK," frowned at the recent anti-party moves of the group's members who had been
hellbent to destroy the image of the party for no just cause, stressing that their antics had been subdued by the high sense of commitment, dedication and resoluteness of the genuine members of the party.

This is even as the three-term legislator appealed to the loyalists of the party to remain resolute, steadfast and resist any internal or external temptations or forces, particularly from the 'registered political hypocrites and foes' pretending as companions and acquaintances.

Speaking at the 4th edition of Oyetola Hand of Fellowship, an empowerment programme quarterly convened by one of the APC stalwarts, Engr. Kayode Sowade, on Sunday, in Modakeke, the lawmaker decried the damage caused by the group, saying it is high time 'to call a spade a spade no matter whose ox is gored.'

Komolafe implored members of the party to be wary of the possible untoward actions of the Omoluabi group who have been running helter skelter for relevance having lost stability in the party they worked against as the state is gradually moving to elections period.

"I want to reiterate that our party is one- united-entity and that there is no faction or division. You may be hearing from some people that called themselves different names under the guise of our platform. I want to tell you that we don't have any faction in our party.

"Also, you might have been seeing some people calling themselves Omoluabi. I want to tell you that none of them could be Omoluabi than all of us here. They are bunch of mischief makers deceiving people with sugar-quoted words to lure them into their destructive adventure having failed severally by their sinister tendencies to decimate the party from bottom-up.

"We are aware of their antics. We have realised that majority of them have been spewing lies here and there to deceive the unsuspecting members of the public just as they deceived them in the last elections. They pretended as if they were with us but voted and worked against the party. Majority of them have forgotten that nothing goes unpunished. If our party is in government today in the state, many would have been Senators, members House of Representatives, Members House of Assembly, Chairmen and Councillors among others but they chose to pull down the ladder that many times aided them to the limelight vantage.

"It is becoming obvious that they are drifting to the path of irredeemable destruction and I want to appeal to you all not to allow yourselves to be lured or induced by whatever means or used for the implementation of their destructive motives. Surreptitiously, they deceived many and betrayed the party forgetting that there is reward for betrayers. This is not a curse, it is a response to their antics.

"By the grace of God, we are coming back to government by 2026. So, this information is essential to you all because coming back to government is a collective effort that is why it is incumbent on everyone of us to work together as an indivisible progressive family; formidable and unsurpassable entity to send the present government in the state packing come 2026.

"So, let's us be wary of them. Don't allow them with their antics anymore. They have already lost the grips, relevance and values politically. Though, the doors of the party are widely opened for genuine reconciliation and for some of them who are sincerely ready to rejoin the party. Let's welcome them when they come genuinely. We are opened to reconciliation at all levels", the former Atakunmosa-West/East lawmaker averred.
