CAC Alayo decorates Boripe LGA First Lady as 2021 Harvest Chairperson
As year 2021 is ending with churches celebrating their harvest anniversaries, the Christ Apostolic Church, Alayo in Boripe local government, also celebrated its anniversary in line with the guidance of the holy spirit.
Pastor Obayomi S. A made this known in his sermon to the congregation, where he enjoined people to put their trust in God, he added that God loves those who put their total trust in him and he doesn't forsake them in time of needs.
The man of God told the congregation that lack of faith and trust in God, but belief in human is why people find themselves in this situation in Nigeria. He prayed to Almighty God to shower His blessings on our lands and direct our leaders in His way.
Also the patron of the church, Elder Ajibade J. A in his words preached and pointed out that many people has deviated from God's word and following evil path, he advised the congregation to remember the coming of Jesus.
"Jesus is coming soon, therefore let's prepare for his coming because the Heaven is our final focus, he said".
In her remarks, Mrs Oyebode Folasade gave glory to God for counting her worthy to be among the living souls, she dedicated this year 2021 harvest anniversary to God and the Church Choirs.
Mrs Oyebode also thanked the church for unrelenting prayers and support to the government of the day, both at the state and local government level.
She urged them not to relent in their efforts but continue to pray for the people at the helms of affairs. She also used the occasion to solicit for second term bid of Governor Adegboyega Oyetola ahead 2022 governorship election.
First Lady was accompanied to the Church APC women leader, Mrs. Afolabi Fasila led Wards women leaders.
