Our Ambassador, The Honourable representing the good people of Ifelodun State Constituency in the State House of Assembly ; Honourable Dr Mulikat Abiola HDMA EMPOWERED over one hundred and twenty (120) women in her CONSTITUENCY  with whooping millions of Naira.

It was Encomium  from different speakers at the event yesterday 23rd of December 2020 ,the empowerment programme which took place at Ikirun Town Hall in Ikirun, Ifelodun Local Government , State of Osun  

witnessed dignitaries across political parties, elected and political appointees, Royal Fathers, Artisans , Markets Women amongst others.

The empowerment programme which kicked off with prayer was also witnessed by   Chief Mrs Kafayat Oyetola wife of the Governor State of Osun,  Alhaji Kebinde Olamolu, Architecture Olalekan Usman,Alhaja Fakokunde; APC State of Osun Women Leader and many more.

Over 120 women benefited from the empowerment with just only one male..

About 10 women who were not on the beneficiaries list also  benefited from the empowerment as they were randomly picked  

The organiser , Hon Dr Mulikat Abiola  HDMA said this empowerment was centred  around women to boost their businesses and it's another way of appreciating and fulfilling the electioneering campaigns before she was elected. 

HDMA said similar programme was done last year but not in elaborated way where 50  selected youth were given 50,000 Naira each. 

The Special Guest of the occasion; Chief Mrs Kafayat Oyetola whilst showering Encomium on Hon Dr Mulikat Abiola HDMA also urged the beneficiaries to make use of the money judiciously .

Mrs Kafayat advised all to take preventive measures against second wave of COVID-19 by avoiding large gathering, putting on face mask and always wash hands time to time with soap and clean water.

The Akinrun of Ikirun land ; Oba Rauf Adedeji in his speech said he is proud of HDMA because she is doing fantastically well and that her second term election  will be easier than the  present. 

Baba Akinrun also eulogised  the Governor of State of Osun Dr Isiaka Adegboyega Oyetola for his giant strides in term of developmental projects across the state . We will continue to support the administration of the governor for the betterment of our people__ Akinrum said.

It was never  a dull moment as  Cultural group, Drummer Groups were at hand to entertained the guests .

Alhaja Kudirat Bolanle Fakokunde ; tge All Progressives Congress Women Leader State of Osun was also on ground and thank HDMA for the empowerment to women in her CONSTITUENCY, as women are the salt of tge world and also playing important role in politics,Alhaja Fakokunde  enjoy party members to come out in large number to register as member of APC when the registration commence next year January. She also went ahead to appeal to all and sundry to keep supporting HDMA and the Governor State of Osun  Dr Isiaka Adegboyega Oyetola Ilerioluwa. 

Hon Dr Mulikat Abiola HDMA used the avenue to roll out some of her past activists like sinking of  Borehole, Toilets, Palm Oil Processing Machine etc at Abule-Oyo, Repair of Borehole in ward 4, 50,000 naira each to 50 selected youth last year 2019, distribution of palliative , amongst many others..also the voice of Ifelodun State Constituency at the floor of the house. 

Other leaders that speaks at the event includes Hon Alhaji Kehinde Olamolu, Hon Alhaja Adebisi Tayo .

Also the 3 Local Governments APC party chairmen in Ifelodun State Constituency were on ground, speaking one after the other , Hon BF Bello ; Ifelodun local government, Elder Z A Agboola ; Ifelodun North  LCDA and Alhaji MA Adelowo ; Ifelodun Area Council .

The speakers  appreciated HDMA for a kob weldone , theu rallied  support for  State of Osun Governor,gave advice on  PARTY unity and remind the members about the APC Membership registration coming up soon.

The distributing of cash ( 50, 000 Naira each )to the selected beneficiaries  was carried out by  Chief Mrs Kafayat Oyetola , Mrs Fakokunde , Alhaji Kehinde Olamolu and other dignitaries. 

Royal fathers at the programme, Akinrun of Ikirun , Olunlosin of Eko Ajala , Olobaagun of Obaagum represented by Chief Balogun amongsts others.

Also in attendance are wife of State of Osun APC Chairman Mrs Fomodun, Mrs Omoloye ( Wife of Ifelodun local government Chairman) Mrs Adekunle ( wife of Ifelodun North LCDA) amongst others.

Different Social and political groups were also presented, such as O ' Continuity (Oyetola 4+4), Oyetola Sisters, DMA Group? HDMA Media Team amongst others.

HDMA thank all the invited guests who graced the empowerment programme,she also appreciated all the party structures in her CONSTITUENCY which includes Chairmen,Youth Leaders Women Leaders and all members for their support as she assured those who did not benefited now should not worry as  the benefits of democracy will soon spread to them .
