OSUN MONARCH TO OYETOLA: Work More on Revenue Generation to Run your Govt.

A paramount traditional ruler in the State of Osun, Owa-Obokun of Ijesha land, Oba Gabriel Adekunle Aromolaran, has charged the Govermor of the State, Mr. Gboyega Oyetola to concentrate efforts on internal revenue generation.

The monarch stated this Friday during inauguration and thanksgiving ceremony organized by a member of the Federal House of Representatives from Ijesha South Federal Constituency, Hon. Lawrence Babatunde Ayeni.

The thanksgiving event during which many people of the constituency were empowered with over forty-seven sewing machines, was held at Zynabab Hotel and Resort, Iloko-Ijesha, in the state.

Oba Aromolaran who had earlier urged Governor Oyetola to engage youths in the state by giving them empowerment, said the Governor needed huge revenue base to run his government, and deliver on his electioneering promises.

Delivering his speech, the Governor of the state lauded the lawmaker for the empowerment, and urged other politicians and stakeholders alike to emulate the good gesture of Hon. Ayeni.

The occasion had in attendance prominent political figures among whom were the Speaker of the State of Osun House of Assembly, Hon. Timothy Owoeye.
