The APC candidate for Irepodun, Olorunda, Osogbo and Orolu Federal Constituency, Hon. Ibrahim Taofeeq Kayode (ITK), has expressed appreciation to the Osun State Government and the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Education, for granting approval for the ITK Foundation to distribute free exercise books to secondary school students across the constituency.

ITK said the initiative, which saw the distribution of 100,000 exercise books to students in 50 secondary schools, was designed to complement the education-focused initiatives of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda while helping to reduce the financial burden on parents and supporting students in their academic pursuits.

He described regular contribution and support to the education system as one of his major priorities, stressing that investment in education remains essential to the development of young people and the future of the society.

He also expressed appreciation to the Zonal Inspectorate of Education, Osogbo Zone; the four Local Inspectorates of Education; and the Nigeria Union of Teachers (NUT) for their cooperation and support before and during the distribution exercise.

According to ITK, the successful completion of the exercise demonstrates what can be achieved when individuals, government institutions, education stakeholders and communities work together in the interest of students.

He assured the people of Irepodun, Olorunda, Osogbo and Orolu Federal Constituency that the ITK Foundation would continue to support impactful and meaningful initiatives that improve lives and contribute to human development.

“Regular contribution and support to our educational system is one of my major agendas. I believe that every child deserves the opportunity to learn in an environment where basic educational needs are not a barrier to academic success.

“We will continue to undertake impactful and meaningful projects that will benefit our people and contribute to the development of mankind.”
