Osun 2026: Olohunlalaro Storms Egbe Olororo, Tyre Dealers, Battery Chargers, Motorcycle Mechanics, Plumbers and Amigo Dealers, Intensifies Grassroots Mobilisation for AMBO

In continuation of his intensive grassroots consultation and mobilisation ahead of the August 15, 2026 Osun State Governorship Election, a prominent chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Alhaji Abdulraheem Muhammed Saheed Omokehinde Akofe, popularly known as Olohunlalaro, on Saturday embarked on another round of strategic engagements with key artisan and business associations in Ikirun, Ifelodun Local Government Area of Osun State.
The grassroots mobilisation tour took him to Egbe Olororo, Tyre Dealers Association, Battery Chargers Association, Motorcycle Mechanics Association, Plumbers Association, and Amigo Dealers Association, where he interacted extensively with members, discussing the future of Osun State and the need to elect the APC governorship candidate, Asiwaju Munirudeen Bola Oyebamiji (AMBO), on August 15.
Speaking during the engagements, Olohunlalaro described artisans and traders as the engine room of the state’s economy, noting that no meaningful economic transformation can take place without creating an enabling environment for small and medium-scale businesses to thrive.
He stressed that the APC governorship candidate possesses the experience, administrative capacity and economic vision required to reposition Osun State for sustainable growth and prosperity.
According to him, an AMBO administration will focus on improving the business environment, empowering artisans and traders through accessible financial support, expanding vocational training opportunities for youths, rehabilitating roads, strengthening security, promoting local enterprise and implementing policies that will directly improve the living standards of ordinary citizens.
Olohunlalaro urged members of the various associations not to leave the campaign to politicians alone but to become ambassadors of the APC within their communities, workplaces and families.
“This election is about the future of our children, our businesses and our communities. Every vote will count. I appeal to every artisan, trader and entrepreneur to support AMBO because he has the competence, integrity and experience to move Osun forward. Let us mobilise our members, friends and relatives to vote massively for the APC on August 15.”
He further encouraged the associations to sustain peaceful campaigns while educating eligible voters on the importance of collecting their Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs) and participating actively in the electoral process.
Olohunlalaro also commended members of the associations for their resilience despite prevailing economic challenges, assuring them that their sacrifices and contributions to grassroots economic development would not be forgotten under an APC-led government.
Responding on behalf of their members, leaders of the various associations appreciated Olohunlalaro for identifying with artisans and small business owners, describing him as a dependable grassroots leader who has consistently demonstrated genuine concern for the welfare of the people.
They noted that unlike many politicians who only appear during elections, Olohunlalaro has maintained close relationships with communities and professional associations through various empowerment initiatives, humanitarian interventions and continuous consultations.
The association leaders unanimously pledged their total support for Asiwaju Munirudeen Bola Oyebamiji (AMBO) and the APC, promising to embark on aggressive door-to-door and one-on-one mobilisation across their various associations to ensure a resounding victory for the party in the August 15 governorship election.
The meetings attracted enthusiastic participation from artisans, traders, youth leaders, women representatives, APC stakeholders and community leaders, who reiterated their commitment to delivering overwhelming votes for the APC across Ifelodun Local Government.
The engagements form part of Olohunlalaro’s ongoing grassroots mobilisation drive, which has seen him interface with market women, transport unions, artisans, farmers, professional bodies, religious groups and community associations across Ifelodun Local Government, all aimed at consolidating support for AMBO and ensuring a decisive APC victory in the forthcoming governorship election.
The mobilisation train continues to gather momentum as Olohunlalaro remains committed to reaching every community, association and voting bloc with the message of hope, prosperity and inclusive governance under the leadership of Asiwaju Munirudeen Bola Oyebamiji.
