Osun 2026: Olohunlalaro Meets Ikirun Vulcanizers, Seeks Massive Support for AMBO

In continuation of his extensive grassroots consultation ahead of the August 15, 2026 Osun State Governorship Election, a leading chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Alhaji Abdulraheem Muhammed Saheed Omokehinde Akofe, popularly known as Olohunlalaro, on Sunday visited members of the Association of Vulcanizers of Nigeria (AVN), Ikirun Branch, where he canvassed support for the APC governorship candidate, Asiwaju Munirudeen Bola Oyebamiji (AMBO).
The interactive session provided an opportunity for Olohunlalaro to engage directly with the artisans, appreciate their contributions to the state’s economy, and reassure them of the APC’s commitment to creating a more enabling environment for small businesses and skilled professionals.
Speaking during the meeting, Olohunlalaro described vulcanizers as indispensable partners in the transportation sector whose services keep commercial and private vehicles on the road daily. He noted that the prosperity of artisans remains central to the economic development agenda of the APC and urged members of the association to support the AMBO/Kayode ticket with their votes on August 15.
He emphasized that the incoming APC administration would focus on economic empowerment, youth employment, infrastructure development, and policies that would strengthen local businesses and improve the standard of living of the people.
Olohunlalaro further called on members of the association to become ambassadors of the APC by mobilising their families, friends, customers, and neighbours to vote massively for AMBO, stressing that every vote would count in the collective effort to return Osun State to the path of sustainable growth and prosperity.
The Chairman of the Association of Vulcanizers of Nigeria (AVN), Ikirun Branch, expressed appreciation to Olohunlalaro for the visit, describing him as a grassroots politician who has consistently identified with artisans and other critical stakeholders. He assured the APC leader of the association’s readiness to work for the success of the party in the forthcoming governorship election.
The meeting ended with a special prayer for the success of the APC, victory for AMBO/Kayode at the August 15 governorship poll, and continued peace, unity, and development across Osun State.
