Engages Trade Associations and Professional Groups Across Ifelodun Local Government in Sustained Grassroots Mobilization  

As part of his sustained grassroots mobilization ahead of the August 15 Osun State Governorship Election, prominent APC chieftain and philanthropist, Alhaji Abdulraheem Muhammed-Saheed Omokehinde Akofe (Olohunlalaro), has intensified his strategic engagements with critical stakeholders, trade associations, artisans, transport unions, and business groups across Ifelodun Local Government, canvassing support for the All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship candidate, Asiwaju Munirudeen Bola Oyebamiji (AMBO).

The grassroots engagement brought together leaders and members of several prominent associations, including the Ifelodun Tailors’ Association, Oke-Ba, led by Elder Onifade Sunday; Ifelodun Local Government Rentals Service (Glory Rentals), under Mr. Remi Adebayo; Ifesowapo Egbe Eleso (Fruit Sellers Association), chaired by Mrs. Suleiman Rahmat; the Association of Table Water Producers (ATWAP), led by Mr. Gafar Afolabi Olaiya (GF Olaiya); the Ifelodun Tippers Association, under Mr. Taiwo Awoleye; the Road Transport Employees Association of Nigeria (RTEAN), Ifelodun Branch 2, led by Mr. Abdulrazaq Akamo; the Association of Tilers, Interior and Exterior Decorators, chaired by Comrade Olawore Kehinde (Oba Kenny); the Generator Mechanics Association, led by Alhaji Azeez Segun; the Shoe Makers Association, under Mr. Ayanbisi Sarafa; the Association of Elewe Ọmọ, chaired by Alfa Rafiu Olayanju; and the Ifelodun Carpentry Association, led by Alhaji Tiamiyu Onaolapo.

Addressing the various associations, Olohunlalaro reaffirmed that an AMBO administration would prioritize policies aimed at strengthening commerce, improving market infrastructure, and empowering traders, artisans, transport operators, manufacturers, and small and medium-scale enterprises across Osun State.

He emphasized that these groups remain the backbone of the state’s economy and deserve a government committed to creating an enabling environment where businesses can flourish and economic prosperity can be shared by all.

According to him, an AMBO-led administration will focus on modernizing markets, rehabilitating access roads to commercial centres, strengthening security around business locations, expanding support for small and medium-scale enterprises, improving the ease of doing business, and implementing investment-friendly policies that will stimulate economic growth throughout Osun State.

He added that these initiatives would boost commercial activities, create employment opportunities, increase household incomes, and promote sustainable development across communities in the state.

Olohunlalaro urged members of the various associations to mobilize their families, colleagues, friends, and neighbours to vote massively for Asiwaju Munirudeen Bola Oyebamiji (AMBO) on Saturday, August 15, stressing that the APC candidate possesses the competence, integrity, experience, and visionary leadership required to reposition Osun State for greater prosperity.

In their separate remarks, the leaders of the participating associations commended Olohunlalaro for his consistent grassroots engagements and unwavering commitment to the welfare of the people. They expressed confidence in AMBO’s leadership capacity and pledged their total support for the APC governorship candidate, assuring him of their readiness to mobilize their members across Ifelodun Local Government to deliver a resounding victory for the APC on election day.
