Osun 2026: From Iwo to Ikirun, Olohunlalaro Meets Egbe Elepo (Palm Oil Dealers), Rallies Support for APC and AMBO

In continuation of his grassroots mobilisation campaign across Osun State ahead of the August 15, 2026 Governorship Election, a prominent chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Alhaji Abdulraheem Muhammed Saheed Omokehinde Akofe, popularly known as Olohunlalaro, held a strategic engagement with members of the Association of Egbe Elepo (Palm Oil Dealers) in Ikirun after returning from political engagements in Iwo.

Addressing the palm oil traders, Olohunlalaro appreciated their immense contributions to the local economy and acknowledged their vital role in sustaining commerce and food supply across the state. He stressed that the prosperity of small and medium-scale businesses remains a priority under the APC’s development agenda.

He urged members of the association to throw their full weight behind the APC governorship candidate, Asiwaju Munirudeen Bola Oyebamiji (AMBO), describing him as a competent and experienced leader with the capacity to reposition Osun State for sustainable growth and economic prosperity.

Olohunlalaro assured the traders that an AMBO-led administration would implement policies that would improve the business environment, empower traders, expand access to financial support, and provide the infrastructure needed for businesses to thrive.

He further appealed to the association to mobilise their families, colleagues, customers and friends to vote massively for the APC on August 15, emphasizing that every vote would contribute to the collective goal of rescuing Osun and restoring purposeful governance.

Responding on behalf of the association, the leadership of Egbe Elepo (Palm Oil Dealers) commended Olohunlalaro for his consistency in engaging various artisan groups and market associations across the state. They pledged their support for the APC and assured him that their members would work diligently to ensure a resounding victory for AMBO in the forthcoming governorship election.

The engagement further highlights Olohunlalaro’s unwavering commitment to reaching every segment of society as he continues his people-centred campaign to secure overwhelming support for the APC across Osun State.​
