Osun 2026: Eniade, Odo-Otin APC Leaders Welcome Over 500 Accord Party Members into APC in Inisa

The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Odo-Otin Local Government on Saturday recorded another major political milestone as over 500 members of the Accord Party officially defected to the APC in Inisa, reaffirming the growing confidence of the people in the party ahead of the August 15, 2026 Osun State Governorship Election.
The colourful reception ceremony was attended by the APC House of Representatives Candidate for Ifelodun, Boripe and Odo-Otin Federal Constituency, Hon. Damilare Francis Eniade, alongside party leaders, stakeholders, youth groups, women leaders and supporters from across Odo-Otin Local Government.
Addressing the defectors, Hon. Eniade warmly welcomed them into the progressive family, assuring them of equal opportunities and active participation in the affairs of the party. He described their decision as a clear demonstration of the growing popularity of the APC and the overwhelming acceptance of the party’s governorship candidate, Asiwaju Munirudeen Bola Oyebamiji (AMBO).
He urged the new members to remain committed to the ideals of the APC and work collectively to ensure a resounding victory for AMBO and the APC in the August 15 governorship election.
According to him, “Your decision to join the APC at this critical moment is a vote of confidence in the vision, leadership and prosperity agenda of Asiwaju Munirudeen Bola Oyebamiji. Together, we will build a stronger and more prosperous Osun State.”
Speaking on behalf of the party leadership, APC leaders in Odo-Otin Local Government described the mass defection as another significant boost for the party’s electoral chances, noting that the continuous influx of members from other political parties reflects the people’s desire for purposeful leadership and sustainable development.
The defectors, while explaining the reasons behind their decision, expressed confidence in the leadership of the APC and pledged to mobilize support across their respective communities to ensure the party’s victory at the polls.
The event concluded with the formal presentation of APC brooms to the new members amid jubilations, solidarity songs and renewed commitment by party faithful to intensify grassroots mobilization across Odo-Otin Local Government in preparation for the August 15 governorship election.
