Olohunlalaro Distributes Free Fuel to Over 3,000 Commercial Transport Operators in Ikirun
In a continued demonstration of his commitment to grassroots empowerment and the welfare of the people, Alhaji Abdulraheem Muhammed Saheed Omokehinde Akofe (Olohunlalaro) today distributed free fuel to over 3,000 commercial transport operators in Ikirun, Ifelodun Local Government Area of Osun State.
The beneficiaries, comprising commercial motorcycle (Okada) riders, Korope drivers, and Keke (tricycle) operators, received free fuel as part of Olohunlalaro’s sustained efforts to cushion the effects of the current economic realities and support the livelihoods of transport operators across the community.
Following the accreditation of beneficiaries at Holy Trinity Middle School, Oke Afo, Ikirun, the fuel distribution exercise was successfully carried out at the following designated filling stations:
* NNPC Garage, Ikirun
* Sunbeth Energies, Ikirun
* Edunjobi Filling Station, Ikirun
The well-organised programme attracted thousands of beneficiaries and party supporters, further underscoring Olohunlalaro’s unwavering commitment to grassroots development, economic empowerment, and people-centred leadership. The initiative also reaffirmed his steadfast support for the governorship aspiration of Asiwaju Munirudeen Bola Oyebamiji (AMBO) ahead of the August 15, 2026, Osun State Governorship Election.
Speaking after receiving the free fuel, many beneficiaries expressed heartfelt appreciation to Olohunlalaro for the timely intervention, describing the initiative as a major relief in the face of rising transportation and living costs. They also pledged their continued support for the All Progressives Congress (APC) and its governorship candidate, Asiwaju Munirudeen Bola Oyebamiji (AMBO), in the forthcoming election.
