Osun 2026: Olohunlalaro Mobilizes Ifelodun Artisans, Bakers, And Tailors To Back Asiwaju Bola Oyebamiji’s Gubernatorial Bid

With less than three weeks to the decisive August 15, 2026, Osun State Governorship Election, momentum continues to build strongly for the candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Asiwaju Munirudeen Bola Oyebamiji (AMBO).

Renowned philanthropist and APC chieftain, Alhaji Abdulraheem Muhammed-Saheed Omokehinde Akofe Olohunlalaro (Arowosadiini of Offa Land and Saraki Adiini of Raodotul Abror Worldwide), has successfully convened another major stakeholders’ engagement in Ifelodun Local Government, securing the endorsement of the Master Bakers Association, Ifelodun Chapter, and the Nigeria Union of Tailors (NUT), Ifelodun Chapter One, Osun State Branch.

The strategic interactive session was aimed at aligning trade unions and grassroots economic drivers with AMBO’s comprehensive blueprint for wealth creation, infrastructure development, and sustainable support for small businesses.

Speaking at the meeting alongside Hon. Gbadamosi Omotayo Abdulfatai (GOF), Olohunlalaro emphasized that Asiwaju Bola Oyebamiji, a seasoned financial expert, former two-term Commissioner for Finance in Osun State, and former Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer of the National Inland Waterways Authority (NIWA), understands the needs and aspirations of ordinary citizens. According to him, AMBO’s governance agenda places artisans, market associations, and local manufacturers at the centre of industrial growth and economic prosperity.

Executives of both the Nigeria Union of Tailors (NUT), Ifelodun Chapter One, and the Master Bakers Association commended Olohunlalaro and his team for championing a candidate with a proven record of administrative competence, transparency, and fiscal prudence. They noted that transforming Osun State’s Internally Generated Revenue (IGR) requires a financial expert of Oyebamiji’s calibre.

The associations unanimously pledged to mobilise their members across all polling units in Ifelodun Local Government to ensure a resounding victory for the APC governorship candidate in the August 15, 2026 election.

“Our support for Asiwaju Bola Oyebamiji is built on trust, competence, and verifiable antecedents. He is a tested manager of resources who will create an enabling business environment where tailors, bakers, artisans, and other entrepreneurs can expand and flourish,” Olohunlalaro stated.

The Olohunlalaro and Bibiire Campaign Team reaffirmed its commitment to sustained grassroots mobilisation through continuous community engagement and door-to-door campaigns across Osun State, ensuring that the vision and message of the AMBO 2026 mandate resonate with every eligible voter ahead of the governorship election.
