Osun 2026: Ifelodun LG NURTW & RETAN Declare Support for AMBO as Olohunlalaro Holds Strategic Meetings, Tasks Members on One-on-One Campaign

As part of ongoing grassroots mobilization ahead of the August 15, 2026 Osun State Governorship Election, a prominent leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Alhaji Abdulraheem Muhammed Saheed Omokehinde Akofe (Olohunlalaro), held separate strategic meetings with members of the National Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW) and the Real Estate Developers Association of Nigeria (RETAN) in Ifelodun Local Government.

The meeting with the transport union was hosted by the Chairman of the Ifelodun Transport Union, Alhaji Mukaila Iyiola Adekunle, popularly known as OBAJETI, who warmly welcomed Olohunlalaro and reaffirmed the union’s commitment to the progress and development of Ifelodun Local Government.

Addressing members of both associations, Olohunlalaro underscored the importance of the August 15 governorship election and urged them to rally behind the APC governorship candidate, Asiwaju Munirudeen Bola Oyebamiji (AMBO). He described AMBO as the most experienced, competent, and visionary leader to restore prosperity, strengthen infrastructure, create employment opportunities, and reposition Osun State for sustainable development.

He noted that transport workers and real estate professionals play indispensable roles in the state’s economic growth and assured them that an AMBO administration would prioritize improved road infrastructure, enhanced security, youth empowerment, and policies that would promote business expansion and economic prosperity.

Olohunlalaro further charged members of the NURTW and RETAN to embark on aggressive one-on-one campaigns across their communities, workplaces, and neighbourhoods. He urged them to engage directly with voters, educate them on the APC’s vision, and mobilize their families, friends, colleagues, and associates to vote massively for AMBO/KAYODE and all APC candidates on August 15.

According to him, every conversation and every vote will count in delivering victory for the APC and ensuring that Osun State returns to the path of purposeful leadership and shared prosperity.

In their separate remarks, the leadership and members of the NURTW and RETAN declared their total support for the candidacy of AMBO and pledged to mobilize their members across Ifelodun Local Government for his victory at the polls. They expressed confidence in AMBO’s experience, capacity, and vision to provide responsive governance and improve the welfare of the people.

The meetings concluded with a renewed commitment by stakeholders to intensify grassroots mobilization and work tirelessly for a resounding victory for AMBO/KAYODE and the All Progressives Congress across Ifelodun Local Government and Osun State on August 15.
