The APC Gubernatorial Campaign Committee, Ifelodun/Boripe/Odo-Otin (IBO) Federal Constituency (FCCC) has continued its ward-to-ward grassroots mobilisation campaign with strategic visits to Ward 5 (Aagba) and Wards 7 and 8 (Ada) in Boripe Local Government Area, reinforcing support for the All Progressives Congress (APC) and its governorship candidate, Asiwaju Munirudeen Bola Oyebamiji (AMBO), ahead of the August 15, 2026 Osun State Governorship Election.


The campaign was led by the Director-General of the IBO Federal Constituency Campaign Committee, Hon. Wale Afolabi, alongside members of the campaign leadership, including Alhaji Sule Aderemi (Co-Chairman), Hon. Adeniran Ibitoye (KLM) (Secretary), Hon. Moshood Adekunle Oluawo (Moshadeck) (Director of Contact and Mobilisation), Alhaji Lamolu (Treasurer), Hon. Kola Akanji (Chairman, Media, Publicity and Protocol), Hon. Gbolagbe, as well as other party leaders and stakeholders from Ifelodun, Boripe and Odo-Otin Federal Constituency.


As part of the day’s engagements, the campaign delegation paid a courtesy visit to the Alaagba of Aagba, His Royal Majesty, Oba Rufus Ogunwale, Ikujosin I, where the revered monarch warmly received the committee. The delegation appreciated the royal father for his fatherly counsel, hospitality and commitment to the peace and development of Aagba Community, while reaffirming the APC’s respect for traditional institutions and its commitment to people-oriented governance.


Following the palace visit, the campaign train proceeded to the various wards, where members of the committee interacted with party executives, ward leaders, canvassers, community leaders, market women, artisans, youths and residents. The engagements focused on strengthening the party’s grassroots structures, encouraging continuous voter education and mobilising support for the APC ahead of the forthcoming governorship election.


The campaign attracted an overwhelming turnout across the visited communities, with party faithful expressing confidence in the leadership, competence and vision of Asiwaju Munirudeen Bola Oyebamiji (AMBO) and reaffirming their determination to deliver victory for the APC on election day.


Addressing party members and supporters, Hon. Wale Afolabi urged APC faithful to remain united, disciplined and focused on the collective task of securing victory at the polls. He emphasized that sustained grassroots mobilisation, constant engagement with the electorate and unwavering commitment from party members would be decisive in the party’s success.


In his remarks, Hon. Moshood Adekunle Oluawo (MOSHADEK) charged canvassers to intensify house-to-house mobilisation, maintain close contact with residents, identify their needs and promptly relay feedback to the campaign committee. He assured them that the committee would continue to provide the necessary support to ensure effective mobilisation across every polling unit.


Also speaking, Alhaji Lamolu encouraged party members to remain steadfast in their engagement with voters, stressing that consistency, dedication and teamwork would guarantee a convincing victory for the APC in the August 15 governorship election.


Ward executives and canvassers across the affected wards unanimously pledged to work tirelessly to deliver overwhelming votes for Asiwaju Munirudeen Bola Oyebamiji (AMBO), assuring the campaign committee that the APC remains firmly rooted across the communities.


The mobilisation exercise was attended by the Executive Chairman of Boripe Local Government, Hon. Their impressive turnout further reflected the unity, strength and unwavering determination of the APC family to secure victory in the forthcoming governorship election.
