Olohunlalaro’s Back-to-back Grassroots Empowerment Drives Ambo’s Momentum Ahead Of August 15 Osun Governorship Election

As the August 15, 2026, Osun State Governorship Election draws closer, the Chairman of Team NARON, Alhaji Abdulraheem Muhammed-Saheed Omokehinde Akofe (Olohunlalaro), has continued to demonstrate unmatched commitment to grassroots mobilization and support for the candidature of Asiwaju Munirudeen Bola Oyebamiji (AMBO) through a series of impactful empowerment initiatives across Ifelodun Local Government and the IBO Federal Constituency.

Within the last three weeks, Olohunlalaro has consistently rolled out people-oriented programmes aimed at strengthening the APC’s grassroots structure while improving the welfare of party supporters.

Three weeks ago, Team NARON launched the NARON for AMBO Free Fuel Initiative, benefiting over 2,500 commercial motorcycle operators, 100 tricycle operators, and 100 mini-bus drivers. Each motorcycle rider received ₦5,000 worth of fuel, while every tricycle and mini-bus operator received ₦10,000 worth of fuel, providing much-needed economic relief and boosting support for the AMBO project.

The following weekend, Olohunlalaro further deepened his grassroots engagement by distributing ₦50 million in support grants across the 145 polling units in Ifelodun Local Government, empowering party structures and reinforcing campaign activities ahead of the election.

This weekend was equally remarkable as Team NARON and Team Bibire held a strategic sensitization meeting with support groups, where participants received financial tokens in appreciation of their dedication to the AMBO campaign.

Later the same day, Olohunlalaro attended the grand finale of the NARON for AMBO Football Tournament, where he rewarded outstanding teams with cash prizes to encourage youth participation and unity. The champions received ₦1 million, the runners-up received ₦750,000, while the third-place team went home with ₦500,000.

The wave of empowerment is far from over. In the coming week, Olohunlalaro is set to unveil another major intervention targeted at women across the IBO Federal Constituency, reaffirming his commitment to economic empowerment, inclusive development, and sustained grassroots support for the APC and the AMBO/KAYODE ticket.

These consecutive initiatives have further cemented Olohunlalaro’s reputation as one of the leading grassroots mobilizers in Osun State, with many describing his unwavering commitment as a significant boost to the APC’s campaign ahead of the August 15 governorship election.
