​IBO FEDERAL CONSTITUENCY CAMPAIGN COMMITTEE CONTINUES GRASSROOTS MOBILISATION ACROSS WARDS 9, 10, 11 AND 12 IN IFELODUN LOCAL GOVERNMENT AREA

The APC Gubernatorial Campaign Committee, Ifelodun/Boripe/Odo-Otin (IBO) Federal Constituency, on Thursday, July 16, 2026, continued its ward-to-ward grassroots mobilisation campaign across Wards 9, 10, 11 and 12 in Ifelodun Local Government Area as part of its sustained efforts to secure victory for the All Progressives Congress (APC) and its governorship candidate, Asiwaju Munirudeen Bola Oyebamiji (AMBO), in the August 15, 2026 Osun State Governorship Election.

The mobilisation exercise was led by the Director-General of the IBO Federal Constituency Campaign Committee, Hon. Wale Afolabi, alongside the campaign leadership, including Alhaji Sule Aderemi (Co-Chairman), Hon. Adeniran Ibitoye (KLM) (Secretary), Hon. Moshood Adekunle Oluawo (MOSHADEK) (Director of Contact and Mobilisation), Alhaji Lamolu (Treasurer), Hon. Kola Akanji (Chairman, Media, Publicity and Protocol), Hon. Gbolagbe, and other party leaders and stakeholders from Ifelodun, Boripe and Odo-Otin Federal Constituency.

The campaign commenced in Iba, where the delegation paid a courtesy visit to the Eburun of Iba before proceeding to the APC Secretariat to meet with party leaders and members. The team subsequently visited Eko-Ende, Obagun and Eko-Ajala, where they engaged party executives, canvassers, traditional leaders, market women, artisans, youths and residents on the importance of strengthening grassroots support for the APC ahead of the governorship election.

The campaign recorded an overwhelming turnout across the communities visited, with party faithful and residents expressing confidence in the APC’s vision for a more prosperous and progressive Osun State.

Addressing supporters, Hon. Wale Afolabi encouraged party members to sustain grassroots engagement by listening to the aspirations of the people and maintaining close contact with every community.

In his remarks, Hon. Moshood Adekunle Oluawo (Moshadeck) charged canvassers to intensify house-to-house mobilisation, identify the needs of residents and ensure effective communication across all polling units. He assured them of the campaign committee’s continuous support throughout the mobilisation exercise.

Also speaking, Alhaji Lamolu urged canvassers and party faithful to remain committed to regular engagement with voters, stressing that consistent grassroots mobilisation would be instrumental in delivering victory for the APC.

Ward executives and canvassers from the affected wards unanimously pledged to work tirelessly towards delivering overwhelming votes for Asiwaju Munirudeen Bola Oyebamiji (AMBO) on August 15, 2026.

A major highlight of the exercise was the appreciation expressed by representatives of teachers disengaged by the current state administration. They commended Asiwaju Munirudeen Bola Oyebamiji (AMBO) and the APC leadership in Ifelodun Local Government for the support extended to them, noting that the monthly financial assistance they now receive has brought significant relief. They pledged their unwavering support for the APC in the forthcoming election.

The mobilisation was also graced by the Executive Chairman of Ifelodun Local Government, Hon. Okanlawon; the Executive Chairman of Ifelodun North LCDA, Hon. (Prince) Adeniyi Olaniyan ; the Chairman of Ifelodun Area Office, Alhaja (Princess) Fausat Atobatele Oyekunle, as well as other distinguished party leaders, elected officials, stakeholders and dignitaries from across the federal constituency. Their presence further demonstrated the unity, solidarity and readiness of the APC to secure victory in the forthcoming governorship election.

The IBO Federal Constituency Campaign Committee expressed satisfaction with the successful outing, describing the enthusiastic reception and impressive participation across the four wards as a strong indication of the growing support for the APC. The committee reaffirmed its commitment to sustaining grassroots mobilisation across every ward and community within the federal constituency as the August 15 governorship election
