​Boripe Muslim Clerics Offer Special Prayers for AMBO Ahead of August 15 Governorship Election

As preparations intensify for the August 15, 2026 Osun State Governorship Election, Muslim clerics in Boripe Local Government on Monday held a special prayer session for the candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Asiwaju Munirudeen Bola Oyebamiji (AMBO), seeking Allah’s guidance, protection, wisdom, and overwhelming victory at the polls.

The prayer gathering was chaired by Alhaji Kazeem Akolawole, Personal Assistant to the Honourable Minister of Marine and Blue Economy, His Excellency Adegboyega Oyetola, CON. The event brought together respected Islamic scholars, community leaders, party faithful, and supporters who united in supplication for the success of the APC candidate and the continued peace and progress of Osun State.

During the session, the clerics prayed for a peaceful, free, fair, and credible election, while asking Allah to grant Asiwaju Oyebamiji the strength, wisdom, and grace to lead Osun State toward greater development and prosperity.

The gathering also reaffirmed confidence in AMBO’s competence, integrity, and vision for transforming Osun State through purposeful leadership, improved infrastructure, economic growth, quality education, youth empowerment, and enhanced welfare for the people.

Speaking at the event, Alhaji Kazeem Akolawole emphasized the importance of seeking divine intervention in all human endeavors, noting that prayers remain a vital foundation for success. He urged APC members and supporters to complement their prayers with intensive grassroots mobilization and lawful participation in the electoral process.

He expressed optimism that the people of Osun State would make the right choice by electing a leader with the experience, capacity, and commitment to deliver sustainable development across the state.

The prayer session concluded with renewed calls for unity among APC members and peaceful coexistence before, during, and after the election, while encouraging residents to come out en masse on August 15 to vote for Asiwaju Munirudeen Bola Oyebamiji (AMBO) and all APC candidates.
