Oyebamiji Mourns, Commiserates With APC National Scribe Over Mother's Demise

The Governorship Candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the forthcoming gubernatorial election in Osun state, Asiwaju Munirudeen Bola Oyebamiji (AMBO) has mourned the death of Alhaja Sidikat Abeke Basiru, the mother of the National Secretary of his party, Senator Surajudeen Ajibola Basiru.

Oyebamiji commiserated with APC National Scribe, his siblings and the entire family of the deceased over the passing of Basiru's matriarch of Odofin's compound, Osogbo. 

AMBO, in a statement personally signed and made available to newsmen in Osogbo described the death of Alhaja Basiru as a great loss not only to Odofin's family, but Osogbo in general. 

Oyebamiji acknowledged the roles of motherhood in a child's life describing late Basiru's matriarch as a mother indeed whose entire life was devoted to worship Allah, raise her children and impact greatly in humanity.

"I received the news of the death of our beloved mother, Alhaja Sidikat Abeke Basiru, the mother of my very good friend and brother, Senator Surajudeen Ajibola Basiru, the National Secretary of our party, APC with a rude shock. No doubt, late Alhaja Basiru was a mother in millions. A devout Muslim and virtuous woman whose entire life was spent to the service of Almighty Allah and humanity. 

"Mama was known for generosity, humility, discipline, integrity, dignity and avowed commitment to the Will and Commandments of Allah Whom she served throughout her life time. 

"The attributes that our late Mother, Mama Sidikat Abeke was known for and the life of devotion to Allah she lived are enough to serve as solace for the family and friends who have loss a rear gem.

"I extend my heartfelt condolences to my brother and friend in particular, Senator Ajibola Basiru, his siblings and the entire family of Basiru on the demise of our beloved mother. 

"I pray Almighty Allah grant the departed soul Aljana Fridaus and imbue the bereaved family the fortitude to bear the irreplaceable loss", Oyebamiji mourned.
