​OBOKUN APC RECORDS MASSIVE POLITICAL GAIN AS HUNDREDS OF ACCORD PARTY MEMBERS DEFECT TO APC

The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Obokun Local Government has recorded another major political breakthrough as hundreds of members of the Accord Party, including prominent stakeholders and the Manager of Hon. Irekandu’s Secretariat, Mr. Jide Babalola, formally defected to the APC.

The defectors declared their unwavering support for the governorship ambition of Asiwaju Munirudeen Bola Oyebamiji(AMBO), expressing confidence in his vision and capacity to lead Osun State to greater heights. They also pledged to work tirelessly towards ensuring a resounding victory for the APC in the August 15 governorship election.

Receiving the new members on behalf of the party, the Executive Chairman of Boripe Local Government, Engr. Maaroof Kayode Ogundipe, warmly welcomed them into the progressive family and commended their decision to align with a party committed to good governance, development, and the prosperity of Osun State.

Engr.
