Hon. Adeniyi Ismail Oluwatosin (AIO) Felicitates Muslims On The Occasion Of Hijrah 1448 AH, Calls For Prayers And Support For Nigeria
A prominent stakeholder and grassroots mobilizer in Boluwaduro, Ifedayo and Ila Federal Constituency, Hon. Adeniyi Ismail Oluwatosin (AIO), has extended warm felicitations to Muslims across the constituency, Osun State, and Nigeria at large on the commencement of the Islamic New Year, 1448 After Hijrah (AH).
In a statement personally signed and made available to newsmen on the occasion of the New Islamic Year, Hon. Adeniyi described Muharram as a sacred month that offers Muslims the opportunity to reflect on the lessons of the historic migration (Hijrah) of Prophet Muhammad (SAW) from Makkah to Madinah, an event he noted symbolizes faith, sacrifice, resilience, patience, and total submission to the will of Almighty Allah.
According to him, the significance of Hijrah goes beyond a historical event, as it continues to inspire believers to embrace righteousness, unity, hard work, and commitment to the collective growth and development of society.
The community leader stated that the beginning of a new Islamic year presents another opportunity for individuals and communities to renew their dedication to moral values, peaceful coexistence, and nation-building.
"As we welcome the year 1448 AH, I congratulate all Muslim faithful and pray that Allah grants us peace, good health, long life, and abundant blessings. The lessons of Hijrah remind us that every challenge can be overcome through faith, perseverance, and steadfastness. We must therefore remain hopeful and continue to work together for a better society," he said.
Hon. Adeniyi further called on Nigerians to intensify prayers for the peace, unity, security, and economic prosperity of the nation, emphasizing that collective prayers and positive actions remain essential ingredients for national progress.
He noted that despite prevailing socio-economic challenges, citizens should remain optimistic and continue to support efforts aimed at repositioning the country for sustainable growth and development.
The politician and public affairs advocate specifically urged Nigerians to support the administration of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu (GCFR) through constructive engagement, patriotism, and prayers, stressing that national development requires the cooperation and understanding of all stakeholders.
"Nigeria belongs to all of us. Beyond criticisms, we must continue to pray for our leaders and support policies and initiatives that will strengthen our economy, improve infrastructure, create opportunities for our youths, and secure a brighter future for generations to come. A prosperous nation can only be built when citizens and leaders work together with a common purpose," he added.
Hon. Oluwatosin also encouraged youths within Boluwaduro, Ifedayo and Ila Federal Constituency to remain law-abiding, productive, and focused on activities that promote personal development and community advancement.
He reaffirmed his commitment to the growth, progress, and welfare of the people, while expressing confidence that Nigeria would overcome its current challenges and emerge stronger through unity, perseverance, and divine guidance.
The statement concluded with prayers for Almighty Allah to make the year 1448 AH a year of peace, progress, breakthroughs, and prosperity for all Muslims, Osun State, and Nigeria as a whole.
"May Allah (SWT) bless our homes, grant success to our endeavours, strengthen our faith, and continue to guide Nigeria on the path of peace, stability, and prosperity. Happy New Islamic Year 1448 AH to all Muslim faithful."
