Democracy Day: AIO Felicitates Constituents, Calls for Unity and Sustained Democratic Values

Hon. Adeniyi Ismail Oluwatosin (AIO), APC Chieftain and prominent political figure in Boluwaduro, Ifedayo, and Ila Federal Constituency, has extended warm felicitations to the people of the constituency and Nigerians at large on the occasion of the 2026 Democracy Day celebration.

In a statement released to commemorate June 12, AIO described Democracy Day as a significant milestone in Nigeria's political history, noting that it serves as a reminder of the sacrifices made by patriots and pro-democracy advocates who fought for the nation's democratic advancement.

According to him, the annual celebration presents an opportunity for citizens to reflect on the principles of justice, accountability, freedom, and popular participation which form the foundation of democratic governance.

AIO urged residents of Boluwaduro, Ifedayo, and Ila Federal Constituency to remain steadfast in their support for peaceful coexistence, community development, and responsible civic engagement, stressing that sustainable progress can only thrive in an atmosphere of unity and mutual respect.
