Chief Moshood Oyekanmi Gbadebo, the Baale of Ayedaade Idi Ogungun, Iragbiji, has formally installed Chief Oladeleke Ganiyu as the Onisinkin of Ayedaade Idi Ogungun Land.

The installation ceremony, held in Ayedaade Idi Ogungun, was witnessed by traditional chiefs, family members, community leaders, and well-wishers from across Iragbiji and beyond.

In his remarks, Baale Moshood Oyekanmi Gbadebo charged the new Onisinkin to uphold the traditions of the land, promote peace and unity, and work for the progress and development of Ayedaade Idi Ogungun.

Chief Oladeleke Ganiyu, in his acceptance speech, expressed gratitude to the Baale and the entire community for the confidence reposed in him. He pledged to serve with integrity, protect the cultural heritage of the land, and support initiatives that will bring growth to the people.

The title of Onisinkin is a revered chieftaincy in Ayedaade Idi Ogungun, with responsibilities tied to community development, cultural preservation, and traditional governance.

Dignitaries at the event included Alhaji Badiru Kazeem AKOLAWOLE, Personal Assistant to the Honourable Minister of Marine and Blue Economy; Mr. Babaranti Waheed, Chairman of Segudu Community; Mr. Opeyemi Bello, CEO Sunshine Multipurpose Center; Mr. Simiyu Tajani; Alawode Taofeeq; members of Team BKA; and other notable guests.

The ceremony ended with prayers for the new chief, the Baale, and the prosperity of Ayedaade Idi Ogungun Land.
