Alhaji Kabiru Ajisope has strongly rejected what he described as an unlawful and politically motivated attempt to intimidate him through an eviction threat concerning his campaign office located at Block B, Plot 1, Olagunju Ola Avenue, Oroki Estate, Osogbo.

Through his legal representatives, Alhaji Ajisope stated that the allegations contained in the eviction notice are false, misleading, and without any legal foundation.

According to his solicitors, the eviction notice was inexplicably addressed to the late Mr. Daniel Olagunju Ola, a deceased person, raising serious concerns about the credibility, diligence, and legality of the process adopted by the issuing authority.

The legal team further maintained that ownership of the property was lawfully transferred to Alhaji Ajisope by the heirs of the late Daniel Olagunju Ola, following which he has remained in peaceful and lawful possession of the property.

The solicitors also disclosed that issues relating to the ownership of the property are already before a competent court of law. They stressed that any attempt to interfere with the property while the matter remains pending is capable of undermining the judicial process.

Reacting to allegations that the property is being used to harbour thugs, Alhaji Ajisope described the claim as false, malicious, and defamatory, insisting that it was deliberately designed to tarnish his reputation and create unnecessary public hostility against him.

He further questioned why an application allegedly originating from 2021 is now being used in 2026 to justify a sudden eviction exercise, describing the timing as suspicious, particularly as the property currently serves as his campaign office.

Alhaji Ajisope called on all relevant authorities to respect the rule of law and refrain from actions capable of intimidating citizens or interfering with matters already before the courts.

He affirmed his confidence in the judiciary and reiterated his commitment to pursuing all lawful means necessary to protect his constitutional rights, reputation, and lawful interest in the property.

His legal representatives have consequently demanded an immediate cessation of all forms of harassment and warned that any further defamatory statements or unlawful interference will attract appropriate legal action.
