TMO Felicitates with the Muslim Ummah across Ifelodun, Boripe and Odo-Otin Federal Constituency

As-salāmu Alaykum Warahmatullahi Wabarakatuh.

I warmly felicitate with the Muslim Ummah across Ifelodun, Boripe and Odo-Otin Federal Constituency and beyond on the blessed occasion of Eid El Kabir.

This sacred celebration reminds us of the virtues of sacrifice, obedience, faith and compassion as exemplified by Prophet Ibrahim (AS). Allah says in the Holy Qur’an:

"لَن يَنَالَ ٱللَّهَ لُحُومُهَا وَلَا دِمَآؤُهَا وَلَٰكِن يَنَالُهُ ٱلتَّقْوَىٰ مِنكُمْ"

"Neither their meat nor their blood reaches Allah, but what reaches Him is piety from you."

(Qur’an 22:37)

As we celebrate, let us continue to uphold unity, peace and love for one another while remembering the less privileged in our communities. I pray that Almighty Allah accepts our sacrifices, grants us peace, prosperity and continued progress as a people.
