Adeniyi Ismail Oluwatosin, has expressed profound gratitude to party leaders, stakeholders, community elders, women groups, youths, political associates, and thousands of supporters across the constituency for their unwavering loyalty, sacrifice, and steadfast commitment throughout the recent political process.

Speaking after the adoption of a consensus arrangement in place of the anticipated primary election, Hon. According to him, the events surrounding the process have further confirmed that his movement is not only politically significant but deeply rooted in the hearts of the people.

Reflecting emotionally on the development, Hon. Oluwatosin stated:

“Yesterday was a deeply emotional moment for our political family. Seeing elders, women, youths, and loyal supporters express disappointment, and in some cases tears, touched me profoundly because it reflected the genuine passion and belief they have in our shared vision for the constituency.

Beyond politics, what we witnessed was a powerful demonstration of love, acceptance, and trust from the people. That alone is historic and humbling.

We have proven beyond any doubt that our movement is not inconsequential. We have demonstrated that we are a formidable political force with genuine grassroots acceptance across the federal constituency.”

Hon. Oluwatosin emphasized that his aspiration was built on the principles of inclusion, people-centered leadership, democratic participation, and equitable development, adding that his supporters remained fully prepared and confident for a transparent primary election.

“We were fully prepared for a democratic contest. At no point did we shy away from the primary election. Our structure was organized, our supporters were mobilized, and our confidence came from the overwhelming goodwill and acceptance we enjoy among the people.

Had the primary election taken place, the voices of the people would have spoken loudly and clearly at the polls. Nonetheless, we remain committed to peace, unity, and the stability of our party and constituency.”

The aspirant commended members of his political structure for their discipline, maturity, and sacrifices throughout the process, describing them as partners in a shared mission to deliver purposeful representation and meaningful development to the people.

He noted that the loyalty and dedication displayed by supporters from various wards and communities across Ila, Ifedayo, and Boluwaduro Local Governments remain a source of encouragement and inspiration.

“To every supporter who stood firmly with this movement, I say thank you. Your commitment, prayers, encouragement, and sacrifices will never be forgotten. You are not just political supporters; you are family united by a common vision for a better and more prosperous constituency.”

Addressing the emotional reactions that followed the consensus decision, Hon. Oluwatosin appealed for calm and understanding among supporters, urging them not to lose hope or become discouraged by the outcome.

“I understand the pain and disappointment many people feel, especially those who genuinely desired a democratic contest. However, I appeal to everyone to remain peaceful, law-abiding, and hopeful.

Every political journey comes with seasons and challenges, and we must accept every outcome with wisdom, maturity, and faith in God. Divine providence guides all things, and we believe greater opportunities still lie ahead for our movement and our people.”
