Chief Dr. Peter Taiwo Ogundeji, popularly known as APATA, has successfully completed the APC senatorial screening exercise in Abuja and was cleared by the party’s Screening Committee after meeting all eligibility requirements in line with APC guidelines.

Speaking shortly after the screening, the frontline Osun West Senatorial aspirant for the 2027 general election reaffirmed his commitment to delivering purposeful, people centred and impactful representation focused on human capital development, youth empowerment and grassroots advancement.

APATA stated that his representation would prioritise vocational training, entrepreneurship support, scholarships and empowerment programmes aimed at reducing poverty, unemployment and hunger across Osun West Senatorial District.

He highlighted his longstanding record of community service and empowerment initiatives, noting that thousands of residents have benefitted from his interventions, while over 500 trainees currently under his vocational and apprenticeship programme would receive full support and working tools upon graduation later this year.

Chief Ogundeji also pledged to attract more federal projects and developmental opportunities to Osun West, assuring constituents of inclusive leadership, accessibility and accountability. He maintained that his aspiration is driven by genuine service to the people and a commitment to improving livelihoods and advancing socio economic development across the district.
