Boripe APC Mourns Alhaji Wahab Oyeniyi, Describes His Death As A Great Loss To The Progressive Family
The All Progressives Congress (APC), Boripe Local Government Chapter, mourns the passing of Alhaji Abdulwahab Oluwole Oyeniyi , describing his death as a great loss to the progressive family in Boripe and across Osun State.
Alhaji Oyeniyi passed away on Thursday, 7th May 2026. His burial took place this morning at the Iragbiji Muslim Cemetery at 9:30 a.m., in accordance with Islamic rites.
Alhaji Oyeniyi was a dedicated party faithful, grassroots mobilizer, and respected community leader whose commitment to the ideals of the APC never wavered. Throughout his lifetime, he worked tirelessly to strengthen the party at the ward and local government levels, and to promote unity, peace, and development in Boripe.
In a statement issued through the Party ChaiOkongoPrince Mufutau Omogboye (Okongo), the Boripe APC Chapter noted that his wise counsel, humility, and unwavering loyalty will be deeply missed by party members and the wider community.
Alhaji Wahab Oyeniyi lived a life of service. His contributions to the growth of our party and to the people of Boripe will never be forgotten. His passing is a painful loss, but we take solace in the legacy of integrity and dedication he leaves behind,” the statement read.
The party extends its heartfelt condolences to the Oyeniyi family, friends, and associates, and prays that Almighty Allah grants the deceased Al-Jannah Firdaus and gives the family the strength to bear this irreparable loss.
